Magnetic Levitation
In this project, I and my colleague, Masoud Jafaripour, implemented a magnetic levitation experimental setup from scratch. We have utilized Arduino, a power electronic circuit, a copper coil, and two Hall effect magnetic sensors. The control algorithm was implemented on the Arduino board. The tricky part of controlling this system was the nonlinear nature of it. You can see a demo of this project in Video 1.
